Torna is one of the most favoured trek around Pune. Being the tallest mountain of Pune district, this trek becomes challenging one. Those who want to shift towards slightly tough treks, Torna fort trek is ideal.
From historical point of view this fort is important because it was the first fort won by Shivaji Maharaj. Also it is said that during repairs of the fort Shivaji Maharaj found pots full of gold coins. This money helped in the construction of Rajgad fort.

Start climbing the fort by 09 am,Sunday
 Reach to the temple on the fort by 12.30pm
 Have lunch and then site seeing on the fort
 Start descending by2 pm and back to base by 4.30pm
 Have tea(Optional ) and start return journey by 4.30pm
 Back to Aurangabad by11.30 pm

Things To Be carried:
A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) - (a must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)
Pls avoid wearing Gold & other ornaments
Some ready to eat food.

Good trekking shoes
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any)
A haversack to put all these things
Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
